DAY 3 ACTIVITY
Evaluating the Work
Think about your work and reflect on your progress
Make a plan to improve your work
Your work from previous activities
Paper or notebook
Pencil, pen, or other writing tool
We’re thinking about the question: “How can we ask, improve, and plan to investigate questions that are meaningful to us?”
Your challenge this week is to create a “Quest Map” that describes how and why you will explore your inspiring question.
Let's Get Started!
You’ve already created your “Quest Plan.” When someone looks at your work, they should see:
The inspiring question that is guiding your quest
The steps of your quest in words or pictures
An explanation for why this journey is important to you

Look at this student’s “Quest Plan”:
Does this work present the inspiring question that will guide them on their quest?
Does this work identify the steps of their journey in words or pictures?
Does this work give an explanation of why this journey is important to them?
Now imagine we have the chance to give this student feedback on their work to make it stronger and clearer.

What advice would you give the student to make this work even stronger?
The student could add…
The student could try…
The student could change…
Keep in mind your challenge this week: Create a “Quest Map” that describes how and why you will explore your inspiring question.
Today, you will revisit your “Quest Plan” to check if you are meeting your goals.
1. Pencils down! This is a thinking exercise! Look at your work and ask:
Does it present the inspiring question that is guiding my quest?
Does it identify the steps of my journey in words and pictures?
Does it explain why this journey is important to me?
2. Complete one of these sentences:
I will add…
I will try…
I will adjust…
3. Make that change on your plan.
Be sure to save your plan because you will use it to create your “Quest Map”!
