THIS WEEK

ThisWeek-icon.png

We’re thinking about the question: “How can we ask, improve, and plan to investigate questions that are meaningful to us?”

Your challenge this week is to create a “Quest Map” that describes how and why you will explore your big, curious question.

Remember when you made a plan to improve your work? That’s when you said:

“I will use color to…”

and

“I will add…” or

“I will try…” or

“I will adjust…”

Decide or discuss: What will you do next to turn your “Quest Plan” into your final “Quest Map”?

Check out this “Quest Map” example by another student.

Ask yourself:

  • Did this student follow their plan? What changes did they make from their plan to the final product?

  • Does this student’s final “Quest Map” show how they will investigate their big, curious question?

  • What do you like about how it turned out?

1. Get out your “Quest Plan” and any other materials from previous activities.

2. Now it’s time to create your actual “Quest Map.” You can create it on a piece of paper, or use the "Quest Map" handout if you like. Ask yourself:

  • How will I show my quest in a clear, interesting way?

  • What supplies do I need?

  • Do I need an adult to help me?

3. Get to work creating your “Quest Map.”

Ready for Day 5?

On day 5, you will find a way to share your “Quest Map.”
