QUESTION OF THE WEEK

How do the things we use connect us to people and places around the world?

What will students do this week?

  • Explore how they are connected to distant people and places through the products they consume

  • Create a “My Global Connections Infographic” to represent how they are connected to distant places through the items they consume

What will students learn this week?

  • The locations where many of the products they use every day are made

  • The steps of a process that begins with raw materials and ends in a finished product

  • Communication strategies to present information in a clear and understandable way
